Description:

This book in its original Arabic manuscript is structured following a traditional apologetical approach.  Imam Suyuti in presenting a defence of the sunna at first discusses relevant Quranic Verses that are significant to the theme of the work, while always bringing forth the relevant prophetic and non-prophetic narrations that defend the sunna. Working chronologically away from the prophetic period, Suyuti cites various scholars and jurists which support the sunna as being a primary source of Sharia Legislation.
